Section 1 Secondary Research Marketing is everywhere around us, some we notice, some we don't. On average, it is estimated that we see around 3000 advertisements per day which we are constantly exposed to marketing we simply don't realize how much of it is around us. In the marketing of our daily lives we are bombarded every day with images of what it should and shouldn't be like, putting pressure on young people to live up to these expectations. These expectations of what they should look like are becoming increasingly difficult if not impossible to achieve. This is because the images we see have been photo-edited and enhanced to make the person in the photo look out of this world. When young people see them images that they should look like this, although it is impossible to look beyond the photos purchased from Russia. One result of this media image of the perfect person is an extremely large increase in the number of people undergoing plastic surgery to look like the ideal image they always see.
