Therefore, the lack of a college education greatly reduces the amount of future job opportunities. Since jobs that require a college degree pay more, the lack of a college education will impact someone's ability to provide for a family. Not only do I want to be able to adequately provide for my future family, but I want my children to grow up with even more opportunities than I had growing up. I decided to attend college because a college education is critical to future success. Ultimately, attending college allows me to meet my family's expectations of me and pursue my dream of changing the world. With so many future job opportunities requiring college, it is imperative that I earn a college degree in order to provide for my future family. The college I chose, Jackson State University, seems to be my home away from home and also my ticket to success
