The Three Musketeers is about 4 heroes who save the day. They manage to defeat evil thanks to d'Artagnan's heroic deeds. D'Artagnan is introduced to the three musketeers by accidentally insulting them all. They each challenge him to a duel for what he has done to them, but while he duels with one of the musketeers, one of the cardinal's guards threatens to arrest them because there is a law that says you cannot duel. D'Artagnan and the Musketeers join forces and drive off the guards. Then d'Artagnan becomes friends with the Musketeers. The first mission together is to rescue the wife of d'Artagnan's landlord, because she has been kidnapped by the cardinal's guards for the information it contains. They managed to save her, but then they see the host's wife with the secret lover of the Queen of Spain, the Duke of Buckingham. She gave him twelve diamond labels. The Cardinal discovers that the Queen has given the Duke of Buckingham the diamond medals, asks the King to give her a ball, and asks her to wear the gift he gave her, the twelve diamond medals. Milady is ordered by the Cardinal to steal 2 diamond labels, from 12, and use them as blackmail. Immediately the three musketeers and d'Artagnan travel to London to help the queen. When d'Artagnan arrives, without the musketeers because they stayed behind to fight the cardinal's spies, Buckingham discovers that he has lost 2 diamond plaques. He then tells his jeweler to make 2 exact copies of the diamonds. So Buckinghams gives him the copies, he gives them to d'Artagnan and takes him to Paris to give them to the queen. Everything goes as expected. D'Artagnan leaves Paris, because he was in danger of the Cardinal's spies, and goes in search of the Musketeers. He finds them all exactly where they were left. Then they discovered that they had to purchase equipment for the king's military mission. None of the Musketeers have money, so they had to find a way to get some. D'Artagnan sees Milady by chance while walking and is very attracted to her. She fights a man who was stalking her and wins, but doesn't kill him.
