Political discourse has suffered because of this shift. We no longer focus on political issues but rather on the recognisability of a politician or on some aspects of his personal life. Even though the Internet has incorporated television into today's society, there are still cases where we see it in both mediums. On television, politicians continue to use their personal charm to persuade their audiences and on the Internet the lives of these political figures are easily accessible, even influencing our choices. One possible course of action to navigate this world of false advertising and excessive intuition would be to educate people about these unconscious influences on their decision making and reinforce that it is the quality of one's beliefs that should matter of utmost importance. Ultimately, it will be entirely up to people to decide how easily subjective they will be
