Throughout history, two theories have developed that explain what happened to the dinosaurs. These two theories have been debated back and forth between evolutionists and religious followers. Evolutionists believe that dinosaurs became the most powerful beings on Earth about 235 million years ago. They believe that no human being existed at that time. Evolutionist views also say that all dinosaurs were killed by a catastrophic event. On the other hand, the Bible says that God created dinosaurs on the same day he created Adam and Eve (Ham, 2007). They also believe that dinosaurs were victims of the Great Flood caused by God's wrath against human sin. Biblical views also say that human fossils were found along with dinosaur fossils. Since both theories provide evidence for their claims, it is difficult to say which of the events is correct. The debate has been reduced to the science-religious question, which is a ticking time bomb. These two theories have caused much controversy in the scientific field as well as among religious believers. Scientific Evidence The evolutionary theory of dinosaur extinction states that their history is recorded in fossil layers that formed over millions of years. Dinosaurs were more successful than any other animal on Earth. They were larger and more powerful so they dominated the food chain and all vegetation. This allowed them to rule any area they dwelt in. Evolutionists also believe that humans evolved long after the extinction of the dinosaurs. Even if humans existed at that time, they would be victims of the same fate as the dinosaurs. This contradicts claims that human fossils were found along with half the paper.
