If the Founding Fathers expected the President to be stronger than Congress, I am of the opinion that they did not imagine that he would overcome every branch of government. The Founding Fathers would still frown today if they knew the president would ever be allowed to overstep his role as leader of our nation in a certain way. Likewise, the Founding Fathers did not foresee a future in which Congress would have more or less power, strength, or weakness over governments.
