Employment LetterTo whom it may concern In light of your advertisement in the AUB Careers and Placements office, I read with interest your advertisement for the position of Sr Store Supervisor. I am applying for the position because I believe it offers challenges and responsibilities and because I believe it matches my qualifications and training on a professional basis. I am an undergraduate student at the American University of Beirut majoring in Business Administration. I will be graduating in June 2004 and am currently looking for an acceptable position that will allow me to develop and explore my skills, as well as learn and excel in my position in the right direction. During my educational years at the American University of Beirut, I participated in several projects (mainly Strategic Management and Marketing) and went through the condensed educational environment of AUB which pushed me to work across different teams, furthermore, to experience its value and become an active team player. Beyond that, I learned to apply my theoretical skills to practical functional ideas which helped broaden my creativity and develop my analytical, conceptual and organizational skills. I also learned how to manage my time and finish on time, which allowed me to deal with stressful situations and develop my sense of responsibility. Beyond that, the multicultural aspect that AUB represents has exposed me to different contexts and cultures that give me the right to face and integrate with a broad cultural and educational base, especially with my language skills (fluent in English, French and Arabic). Furthermore, through my internship and especially during my interactions with employees and customers, I was given the opportunity to strengthen my confidence in my interrelationship between my personal skills and abilities and to learn more about behaviors and expectations of the client and the new problems of "teamwork", which also influenced my level of motivation.
