Stress at work Preface Stress at work is one of the most common forms of stress that every single person experiences in their life, but unlike other types it is like a nail that continues to be nailed again and again. There are many occupations where stress becomes a major factor in a job and people often prefer to pursue important jobs such as healthcare professions and engineers due to the high pressure situations where lives are often at stake, but a another can be equally harmful to your work. workers and this is retail. Retail workers have one of the most stressful jobs due to numerous changes within companies and constant interactions with customers and even supervisors. Through the sources provided we will look at how retail employment can cause stress for both people in and out of the profession, I will also interview two workers in this field and try to analyze their views on the stress that comes with it and then compare and contrast their two opinions and then enter my thoughts and compare them to the interview statements. Ultimately, the stress of having to work in the retail industry will be explored further to demonstrate that it is one of the most stressful occupations around. Excessive hours and unreasonable demands create unnecessary stress at work and therefore increased traffic creates more noise making the workers' environment more stressful.
