One year after my environmental transformation, I will eat as much local food as possible. It will be imperative to purchase only grass-fed, free-range and organic meats. Maintaining these eating habits will be harder to adapt simply because I will be limited to seasonal fruits and vegetables at the farmers market. Switching to local food will help me monitor my consumption because I will plan my meals in advance so that I only buy what is necessary. Becoming aware of my waste will help me reduce it as much as possible as I try to transition to a zero waste lifestyle. At this point, I will already make as many of my own products as possible, while continuing to use reusable cutlery. I will also be a keen recycler to help reduce my waste. At this point in my life, I plan to walk to accessible places, take public transportation, and only use the car when necessary. This will be really hard to follow because it's convenient to use my car when I have to go somewhere. The transition to public transport will be difficult, but the need for change is important. Since I discovered vampire energy, a year later I will only use the energy when necessary. Everything except my major appliances will be unplugged when not in use.
