At this point it is imperative to help that child rise above. As an educator, you have to take the concepts and make them work for that child. High achieving children can go on opposite sides of the spectrum. A child who learns quickly can become disconnected and bored. Disinterested children get lost in the mix because they have the skills, the preparation has been met, but they need to be involved to get back and get back on track. Educators learn just like students; they have to relearn what they are teaching to make it work for everyone
