The numbers don't stop there; the following year the percentage rose to over 50% as approximately 12 million cosmetic surgery procedures were performed. Europe is second in the cosmetics market. The business is worth $2.2 billion. Cosmetic surgery has become a norm in today's society in countries such as the United Kingdom, France and Germany. Asia has started to embrace cosmetic surgery in which China is leading the market. The question here is: Does cosmetic surgery cause more harm than good?
