All these technological methods play a vital role in a business sector. Business communication is incredibly influenced by computing devices like these due to the leverage of communication with staff members, stakeholders, and global market industries known around the world. My first choice is the Internet: “a rapidly growing computer-based network system attracting millions of organizations, businesses, schools, and government network systems worldwide in different regions of the world (O'brien & Marakas, 2009).” The Internet allows companies to conduct business in a broader arena on an international basis than Duckett's local businesses. This method of international approach will allow the owner to monitor other competitors in the same industry. My second choice is the intranet, which is similar to the “inside the company” (O'brien & Marakas, 2009) form of Internet technology, meaning the company can successfully collaborate with others by communicating with your colleagues using an internal method. For example, education systems use intranets as a way to include everyone within the education system to send massive email announcements such as alerts for upcoming training and other protocol tactics that everyone in the school system should be made aware of to promote growth. The goal is to successfully increase communication skills with personalized contacts, one-on-one meetings, phone calls and emails are key ways to communicate while conducting business. The final choice is Extranet, which is also similar to the Internet; however, it is “between the firm and its stakeholders (O'brien & Marakas, 2009).” The extranet can be used to conduct data and professional development, this type of information or data is essential because it accesses the complex
