ConstructionConstruction is a necessary art form that requires vision, requiring the use of tools and providing shelter from the extreme environment. These processes require the use of tools and materials. Construction is a main ingredient for building. If they don't have it, you can't do anything and if they have it, they can do many things. Today we have schools, homes and office buildings. Carpentry technology dictates that a beginner should have the space provided for the project. They should also have a vision of the design before using the tools and materials needed to manipulate/create the established design. If we didn't have people who wanted to do construction like carpenters also want to do, we would never have those things. Before they even think about building something or ordering materials, they always have a plan. Without a plan many things can go wrong. Most people make a plan because they know what they will need and can change it with a pencil. If they make a mistake during construction, many things can go horribly wrong. Beginners need to imagine what they want your place to look like. Today many people use power tools because they are much faster. Nothing is ever easy; if it does then they have done something wrong. Redoing my grandmother's deck is my senior project. We will now discuss the basic steps to building a deck. When beginners are building a project such as a deck, they should make a blueprint or drawing of their project. “The wonderful thing about terraces is that they extend the living space into the great outdoors. For the most part, any activity they can do inside can also be done outside” (Jeswald 6). When they are building a blue print, they first imagine their project. Decks......half of paper......and after winter remove dirt and other materials, so it will look like new again. If you clean your deck during the winter, make sure there is no metal or scraper on the shovel. These will scratch the bridge and take away pieces. Use a plastic shovel and push the snow away, never put salt on the deck as it will eat away at the material. When creating a bridge remember to look at the ground, know the lay of the land. Take the slope of the hills, if there are any. Make sure they have the space intended for your deck. They don't want a small space for a huge deck. Get your tools and materials, make sure they are all for use in the environment. Building a deck is a great way to bring the family together and work as a team to make something great. “Your home is your biggest investment. It's an even better investment if you add a deck” (Breyer).
