Child abuse and drug-addicted infants "How many do you think are abused per day?" of child abuse and neglect. People think that child abuse is not a big problem, but as the facts say, child abuse is on the rise due to the fact that the abused do not get the help they need and turn into abusers ( Perry) (Muscogee County Sheriff's Office). Drug-addicted children are also a big problem in the United States, not only do they die but they are even tortured and grow up with a poorer physical and mental standard. As they grow, they are about average until the age of four and then from there on they start to decline in their motor skills, they basically become mentally and physically stupid. (Kronstadt, 2013)Child abuse can come in many forms. There are four different types of abuse that I will encounter in my research paper; they are physical, mental, emotional and abandonment. Most abuse results from negligence and net physical factors. The physical category also includes sexual abuse. (Do something) Drug-addicted children can also fall into the emotional and mental category. Two of the main questions in this article are: what is child abuse and how do drug-addicted children live? It turns out that children's lives are affected the most after the age of four, but we'll know more about that later. (Kronstadt, 2013) You may ask why child abuse is so common. There are many answers, but the best one that research could provide is that when abused people don't get the help they need, they very often become the abusers themselves and then when they abuse their chi... .. middle of paper ......people never get help and will always remain the same? This is one of the most frequently asked questions in my research paper, but it's true. Research says that abusers and drug addicts will continue to do to their children what happened to them when they were children; unless they felt their children didn't need that kind of treatment and started a new way of raising them the way most people would raise their children. Most of the time, though, this isn't the case and if they want to avoid treating their children the way they do, they need some serious mental therapy to get that instinct or habit out of their system. (Perry) Ultimately, the research shows that statistics on child abuse and drug-addicted children will continue to increase unless they get the serious mental help they need to get rid of the instinct to get children out of their system.
