it is very likely that Cunanan was watching him because he was killed shortly after work. He was shot on May 9, 1997 with the same caliber gun used to kill Madson. His last victim was Gianni Versace. Cunanan was never in prison for the murder because he died before there could be a murder He was in a boathouse in South Beach Florida and the police had the boathouse surrounded and he died inside the boathouse for boats
