The show was scheduled for 7pm with a run time of about three hours, so we left campus at 6.30pm. The journey to the Gamm Theater was very pleasant. The sun was setting and my friend and I were having a conversation about what we expected from the show. When we arrived at the location and entered, I immediately noticed a huge amount of older people in the lobby. I wasn't surprised because I knew A Streetcar Named Desire was an older work that came out in their generation. I went to the box office to collect the ticket I had booked on the phone. I approached the theater entrance and was greeted by an usher who handed me a program and directed me to my seat. My seat was on the far left of the theater. When I entered I was surprised by the stage because I was expecting a proscenium theater and instead the audience was very close to the stage. The show's set mostly resembled a unified set with all sections on stage at the same time. The set looked really old fashioned with old decorations which gave us the feeling of
