Topic > The Pros and Cons of Global Warming and…

“'Well done' is better than 'well said,'” as Benjamin Franklin once said so eloquently. But what if it doesn't matter? What happens if too much is said and perhaps not enough is done? Some believe that our kind has become blind to what may or may not happen to the planet, and that is climate change. Climate change is often referred to as “global warming”. Climate change is labeled as a change in the normal cycles of the Earth's atmosphere that may well be due to human activities. Climate change also refers to a chemical imbalance in the cycle of the element carbon. Global warming is a controversial topic worldwide that has been discussed and debated on countless occasions among top professional scientists. However, while other benefits are significant towards changing the planet, there would be fewer deaths and injuries among humans and animals due to the intensely cold climate, as well as a lower need for energy consumption to heat cold areas. Global warming could have a positive effect on the lush growth of plants due to warmer climates. Relevant disadvantages that could occur due to global warming are epidemic water shortages in already water-poor places. Melting Arctic ice and ice caps would increase flooding around the world. Global warming has the potential to increase death and disease in humans and animals due to debilitating heat waves. Due to the theory of climate change, hunger, malnutrition and increased desertification due to increasing evaporation worldwide. The most obvious bane of global change would be extreme weather triggers, including increased acidity of rainfall, unpredictability of weather, and increased frequency of severely catastrophic storms. Regardless, there are pros and cons to both outcomes that will significantly change everyone's way of life
