Culture of JapanThe Japanese have existed for many years. They are a very distinct population where their culture influences many aspects of our lives. A brief history of Japan will illuminate the many ideas and topics in which it will explain how and why these ideas play a role in their culture. Shinto is the oldest animist religion of traditional Japan. However, the religious status of the Japanese is Buddhism. This faith has been sacred for just over twelve hundred years. These two religions have intertwined and influenced each other and Japanese culture. The two religions are very common, you could easily find both of these religions. Over the centuries the capital of Japan has been moved. The capital has moved from Nara to Kyoto and now to Tokyo. Japan also saw many political structures. Furthermore, as old as the country is, their language follows forever, the Japanese language is spoken in Japan and essentially nowhere else.
