I want you to think back to what may be the greatest invention ever. Depending on how well you know your story, you might say the wheel, the car, the plane, the television, the autonomous robot. All these are great ideas that have different eras in history, but they all have something in common, these creations were all invented by engineers. One should not mistakenly believe that engineers have existed since the dawn of time, but the very concept of engineering has. Those great revolutionaries all had ideas and solved problems that are still qualities used by engineers today. Webster defines engineering as “the work of designing and creating large structures or new products or systems using scientific methods.” Those people created new products that they would be considered engineers for today, but they're a little different. What makes them different is the field they would be considered a part of. The broadest of the oldest forms is mechanical engineering, which is my future profession. My interest in mechanical engineering stems from my engineering teacher at Griffin High School. I got to sixth grade and chose to try it because I didn't really know what I wanted to do. Mr. Burrell taught me many things. I feel like it prepared me more for how much it challenged me and made me go through the troubleshooting steps to figure out things I didn't know. Once I continued my education throughout high school in engineering, I realized that mechanical engineering is the discipline I felt I was most interested in and most successful in. Webster specifically defines the discipline of mechanical engineering as "the kind of engineering that... mid-paper... I want to go back to South Georgia and get a master's degree in mechanical engineering. I'm going to do it so I can climb the ladder. I hope to be promoted to a higher position within the first 10 years of my career. I feel that my plan will make me a successful engineer. I will have to work hard and stick to my plan pay or benefits, but because that's what I want to do. I feel like I can be happy working every day as a mechanical engineer. I've always wanted to wake up every day and be a happy person. Mechanical engineering will provide me with a challenge and a spark of joy at the same time.Mechanical engineering is my dream career. One day I will realize my goals.Through hard work and dedication I will achieve the goals I have set for myself in life.
