Big George Collier and his band play nostalgic tunes, smoke fills the room. We are all crammed into a miniature avenue. Eventually the dance floor clears out a bit as a change in musical style creates a queue for some dancers to retreat. One or two more unremarkable songs pass by in this final set of 1987. She skeptically agrees and we move onto the crowded dance floor... the miniature boulevard. A giant mirror along one wall reflects reality but provides the illusion of larger size. It's a nice dance Robbie she's so cute, I wonder what she sees in me, I must feel good, otherwise she wouldn't do... "Bump.. Bang.." damn!... some fool is trying to take over the whole floor dance floor making everyone else fall with her big butts. The colored lights around the bandstand flash in perfect sequence; I wonder if they are just Christmas lights or are they part of the lighting designed by the band? Big George certainly is...
