SUMMARY The political landscape in the UK has changed with regards to the need to create a healthcare overhaul to provide greater efficiency to its citizens since its inception in 1948. To truly create a national health care system available free of charge at service points for all citizens, then it should be uniform for all. At the moment this cannot be said. In 2000, the Prime Minister proposed increasing funding for the NHS so that improvements in care are at the forefront of the mission by addressing the following (www.dhgov.uk).• Partnerships;• Entertainment professions and the wider NHS workforce;• Patient care;• PreventionThe public health system, which faces drastic reform, is outlined in the coalition's White Paper 'Healthy Lives (www.dhgov.uk).' Although controversial and contested, these cuts are what the NHS is determined to undergo to reform healthcare in the UK. They also have partnerships because of the requirements and mandates that are asked of them financially. It is with their successful partnerships that a positive opinion of the National Health Service is established as a company worthy of having external stakeholders and a competent organization (Grant & Douglas, 2014). It has become essential for providing training to the workforce in a competitive market. This is achieved through partnership, where using a partner organization to help teach a large workforce how to gain the skills needed to continue to support patients in an ever-changing technologically advanced climate, grow and fully realize one's potential (McBride & Mustchin, 2007).
