can teach our country many important life lessons. This play connects perfectly with the current immigration issue in the United States and offers a refreshing side to the struggles of undocumented immigrants for a new life. It expresses the problems that many undocumented immigrants face when they leave their old homes behind and try to become American citizens and the struggles they will face. The issue this play brings to life in our society is allowing your voice to be heard. As individuals in our society, we are told that our voices are heard, but these are lies to keep us from achieving what we desire. The voices we support are small and face many challenges when trying to change anything but, as demonstrated in the past, if we work together as a whole, these voices can overcome any obstacle that lies in front of us. As our brave main character said at the end of the play “My story is in the wind! It's flying home, Mommy! It's in the square and in the fields! It's in the Rich Man's Big Head. He's in the arms of the Poor Man, Daddy! And he's putting down the machete and telling the Soldier, "No Mas!" “No More!”” The story of Miguel and his journey will influence others to act on his behalf. One by one, people will learn about the fears he had to overcome when the odds were against him. The current immigration issue being brought to our generation can be a great stepping stone for what the future can bring to America. If we unite all our voices and take a stand for the good of all, we can create a solution to the problems of millions of people. Next time you feel like your voice is too weak to be heard, remember young Miguel in the comedy ¡Bocón!, face your fears and gather the courage to stand up for what you believe in
