A significant percentage of college students spend their time on campus with a lot of stress. This is due to a tight schedule that requires them to balance class time, homework, tests, projects and extracurricular activities. Other students are connected to the corporate world, particularly the adult education offered on our campus. The working group found it difficult to support additional workload in their courses. Final exams are a difficult time for candidates due to the anxiety of passing them. Cheating has become a modern trend in university life with 32% of students admitting to unethical behavior in their university life. College life has turned into a competitive field that must be balanced against your paycheck when creating a budget. Even though life is full of stressful situations, experts say that college life has emerged as a major cause of stress for students. Stress can be limited or overcome once the main roots of its occurrence in a different context are understood (Jason, 2011). The speech determines the cause of stress among students at Strayer University. As commissioned by the President of Strayer University, we will determine the cause of stress in campus life and its effect on the economy and casualties overall. Strayer University is a for-profit institution of higher education offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs for working adults. Causes of Stress in College Life Unhealthy anxiety involves a feeling of unease and worry; experts argue that unhealthy anxiety fills the aspects of apprehension where the observer experiences constant worry and is unable to control the level of anxiety. Taking a college course involves a significant change from your usual routine, not… halfway through an assignment… in a significant way. Eating a balanced diet, exercising and visiting healthy facilities are no longer their duties, their overall health gradually suffers. Stress changes the relationship between different acquaintances. Stressed people tend to live alone, thus detaching themselves from their friends, classmates, family and even teachers. Students become irritable and defensive. Stressed and defensive characters will resist the right schedule and skip classes and final exams. The student could have done well if he or she had a stress-free life in college.
