I-Search Document “I should focus on computers”1. What would I like to research? I have always loved and appreciated computers since I was a kid. There are so many different jobs and fields that information technology offers. I have a great interest in the computer field. I would like to learn more about the many fields offered by the IT industry. I believe we all have seen computers or used them in our lives. I also believe the field will continue to grow. I can only hope that one day I can develop software that everyone uses to make their lives easier.2. What do I already know? What I do know is that there are a large number of different fields offered by computers. Almost everything we do or see always has some sort of computer use around us. Shops like to use computer software for registers and sensor-activated doors. Most schools offer online classes, and my daughter, who is in third grade, does most of her homework online. I know they rely on computers for aerospace work such as robotics exploration of space and planets. I know I see people on their cell phones everywhere I go. This shows that as a human race we are dependent on the use of computers. Which IT field should I go into and what steps should I take to achieve my goals?3. The Story of My ResearchWhen my research began, I had some ideas about how to gather information. I started by brainstorming and writing down what I thought I might know and what I already knew, but I would soon discover that I knew very little about most computer-related jobs. There are many different fields and this is due to the expansion of the field of computers. There are new computer jobs being created or played every day. Salary for computer related jobs...half of paper...work hard and put in the time. Computers are a great tool and help transform our world into what it is today. With each passing year we, as a human species, rely more and more on information technologies. This is the main reason why I chose to study computers and all the great tools that computers offer us. I know there is a computer job out there for me and anyone else who is interested in the computer field. After all the information I had read. I think computers are the perfect job for me. I was injured while working in the workforce and will not be able to return to that type of work. So for me computers give me a second chance and many different lines of work to choose from.
