Most mothers are not prepared for motherhood, but if they had the opportunity to be prepared, they would hold and raise their child. Campaigns and fundraising should be done everywhere to provide mothers with baby food [WIC is a current resource available to most low-income mothers], blankets/bedding, and other supplies. As a society, we should continue to bring and provide awareness about contraception to sexually and non-sexually active people. Furthermore, abortion should not be an option for expectant mothers. They should be more informed about the decision to adopt and the benefits for both mother and child. Abortion is a morally wrong and illegal act, so it should be illegal due to religious beliefs, misuse as a method of birth control, and gruesome and inhumane surgical procedures. Thousands of children see their lives and futures destroyed because of abortion. In general, abortion is such a sensitive topic that most try not to think about it or talk about it. However, the time has come to give a voice to those who don't have one
