But nothing brings me more joy than opening the box of a brand new pair of Aldo shoes. I remember when I first stumbled upon this amazing shoe store it was the summer before my freshman year of high school and I was doing what most kids my age did, trying to decide who I was going to be next semester. Not literally because I would always be Dominic Davis, but whoever my clothes were would say I was. I was at the mall with my mom who had so many suggestions that I hated, but she was the one who picked out my first pair of cognac dress shoes that changed my life forever. Only now I wanted to know more about this company that was responsible for my revolution. Aldo Shoe Company was founded in 1972 by Aldo Bensadoun, originally from France and who moved to the United States for university studies. Aldo Shoes was born in Montreal, Canada and still houses its headquarters. Aldo, formerly known as the Aldo Shoe Group, began as a group of stores throughout Montreal and did not open its own store until 1978. The first retail store in the United States did not open until 1990 (The Globe and Mail 2010), a in Israel it opened immediately afterwards in 1995. Aldo Shoes is now a global phenomenon. Ironic because Mr. Bensadoun wanted nothing to do with the shoe industry, ironic because he is a fourth generation shoe salesman as stated in an article by Marina Strauss. There are more than 1,600 shoe stores Aldo...... middle of paper... ks, in my opinion, for women it changes with the season in summer they specialize in women's sandals offering a range of sandals from Greek sandals To men's flip flops their characteristic look is elegant and sophisticated, a man who takes a little more time than average to prepare and pays attention to detail. Aldo seems to be an amazing company and has been there for me on many important occasions in my life, whether it was the first day of high school, prom or just for everyday use Aldo Shoe Company has provided the best service. Aldo truly has something for everyone, no matter if you're a businessman working 9 to 5 or if you're looking to make a statement. And not to mention their charity work, that's why I don't feel guilty when I spend all my (or my parents') hard earned money on Aldo, I just consider saving the world one pair of shoes at a time.
