I believe what Albert Einstein said: “I fear the day when technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots." Modern technology is used everywhere and we are influenced by it every day. We conveniently use computers or smartphones to find out the information we want to know. However, it not only provides us with the information we need, but also provides us with many subconscious influences through the use of mass media. For example, when I open a website, I can easily find commercial ads on the side of web pages or in the center of articles. Technology is no longer just a tool for our convenience, but also becomes a resource of the mass media. Nowadays it is easy to identify people who are exposed by mass media in the form of social networks. For example, restaurants are places where people gather with friends and families to chat, but recently people sit together around the table but do not interact with each other. People are busy checking and chatting through their social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Mass media is constantly evolving and developing every second. It has been developed so much as to try to brainwash the public. The use of repetitive melody and funny lyrics is one of the strategies they use. For example, when I hear the song "I'm lovin' it" on the television, it automatically reminds me of McDonald's.
