Basketball is one of the most popular sports in America and only a few NBA stars are considered greats. There's only one they call the greatest, with six national championships and 5 MVPs under his name. Michael Jordan could play basketball in so many ways that he could make an opponent look bad simply by passing him the ball. Every fan and every announcer loved to say the name "Michael Jordan" or also known as "MJ" Jordan was the talk of the country, every kid or fan wanted to have his autograph or basketball card. By breaking numerous records and winning six national championships, Michael Jordan became the greatest basketball player of all time. Being a professional basketball player is hard, especially when you have one of the biggest impacts on the world. Jordan inspired many people around the world, not because of his basketball skills, but because of his respect and devotion on and off the court. When Jordan first joined the NBA, he started a basketball camp for any kids who wanted to participate to help them improve (Biography.com). Making an impact on the world like Jordan does is not as easy as it sounds or sounds, Jordan has his family life and basketball life to worry about as well. When Jordan was just 19 years old, he began his college career at the University of North Carolina (biography.com).
