Imagine waking up and knowing you're going to die. What's the first thing you would do? Most people wouldn't just wait for this to happen, they would go out and do something about it. It could be as big as finding the cure for the disease or as small as making friends with some unknown neighbors or paying for groceries for the person behind them. The lesson on how to appreciate things in life is almost a kind of source that you can think of. Books, artwork, Bible stories, poems, songs, photographs, and articles can all contain this life lesson. (Book) “These pleasures are forgotten or ignored. I'll be the first to admit that I take a lot of things for granted, even after having had cancer myself. After reading Michael's book, I vowed to change that. It certainly won't happen overnight, but I'll do it in small steps, so I'll do it right.” (1875)Artwork is one of the ways in which the theme of the treasure of things in life can be conveyed. An example of an artwork like this is right here. The reason this image is an example of love for things is not only because of what it says, but also because of the meaning behind each of the things embedded in it. “Cherish the Light Not Darkness” (Bach, Elizabeth. Cherish the Light Not Darkness. 2014.) means that people should not focus on the terrible things in life or on the things that darken their mood. They should instead focus on the joyful things in life that lighten their mood. The yellow sphere symbolizes the light or joys of a person. Since you cannot see the light, this could mean that within the light there can be anything that any type of person would like, such as kittens, sports, games, and maybe even darkness if that is what a person.. . middle of paper......the things of everyday life. It can be almost anything as long as the person doesn't take any of these things for granted. So life should be enjoyed for all the wonders it has as it can vanish in an instant.
