Part A: Key Phases Involved in the Implementation of Major Projects The aim of all projects is to achieve specific targets and objectives as best as possible. As has been recognised, projects are dynamic and hide many risks and a more manageable way to deliver them was needed. The project life cycle is the set of these phases that go from the beginning of a project to its closure (PMBOK, 2013, p.38).
