Here we will examine the certainty of God and better understand where we get the knowledge we have received. Knowledge can be expressed through our senses or through the logical knowledge that is in us automatically, according to rationalism. Whether through the Word of God, proven solutions, or through our senses as the personal experience we have been given of who God is and the purpose He has for us. What do Rationalism and Empiricism say about the knowledge we obtain and where it comes from? For me I have come to understand that the knowledge we receive comes from both empiricism and rationalism. We learn from our senses and rational equations which give us some understanding of the product and the lesson being taught to us. Let me start by stating that God is real to me and I know it without a doubt. I have learned through the Holy Bible who my Father in heaven is and who he is for me. He is a God who cares about me and wants the best for me. He is a God who loves me, protects me, provides for me, and wants nothing more than to give us abundant life. God is the Creator of heaven and earth and without Him nothing will exist, including you and me. He had spoken the word and we came into existence. It seems to me that people take the word of God lightly and don't realize how powerful the word of God can be. It can transform and change lives, if we just believe it. The knowledge we gain is sent from above and my Father knows what we need to survive on earth for His Glory. Proverbs 2:2-7 (New King James Version) states that “that thou mayest set thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart unto understanding; yes, if you ask for discernment and raise your voice to understand, if you seek it like silver, and... middle of paper... ody and fill me with joy, a bubbling feeling of comfort and pleasure at the same time and I felt even like I'm not even there to experience those blessings in my life. In conclusion, my knowledge and certainty in Almighty God, through His word, His Spirit and relying on the knowledge I have received from Him in a matter of senses and logical explanations has given me the strength, blessing and understanding to trust Him in everything I do for His Glory and Honor. We have learned that our senses and rational equations can aid us in our decision making, to help us grow in knowledge and seek Him first in all we do. In Christ! References Nash, R. H. (1999).
