The monkey's paw had sometimes brought unhappiness and made one want even more. As Sergeant Morris said “but I warn you of the consequences”, (Jacobs.2) warning them once already. Mr. White was concerned that the monkey's paw might be fake in some way. The monkey's paw had a craving drop when people wanted more than they needed. Characters should remain careful with what they have. The characters become greedy and want so many things. The monkey's paw becomes intriguing to us...
