According to http://media.okstate.edu/faculty/jsenat/censorship/defining.htm censorship is "Supervision and control of information and ideas circulating among people within a society . Censorship refers primarily to the examination of books, periodicals, plays, films, television and radio programs, news and other media for the purpose of altering or suppressing parts" (Definition of censorship). Now, if there was a time where censorship went too far, there would be many ways that would make it a dystopian society and the things that would be declared would be television, radio shows, movies/art. Television has many shows banned or eliminated and this is the case. “Even television has strict laws to limit what audiences see on their favorite shows” (Censorship Gone Too Far). While we are talking about laws, the censorship law could get worse. Where they start saying words that sound wrong or seem wrong and are probably not wrong.
