In the last three decades our society has changed through various elements. Beliefs, culture and values have also undergone this change and a very important agent has been identified in Technology. We are faced with a new society, where Education and Knowledge seek strategies that can lead to a better situation. This new order leads everyone to analyze everything around us and, consequently, to consider future generations and their needs. We must therefore reflect more deeply, noting that Teachers are an essential pillar in every culture. They are responsible for teaching our children, giving values and providing the tools necessary to succeed in life today. Tutors must be in charge of educating these new students and introducing them to the knowledge society. Therefore, they will promote innovation, improvement, participation and inclusion. As previously mentioned, professors must be in continuous training and must update their knowledge. Each generation is different and the importance of renewing one's methodologies is crucial. A good teacher must not only present a list of characteristics that represent an excellent professional, but must also integrate ICT into the curriculum to create appropriate strategies to apply in the classroom. Chile is not exempt from these changes and the importance of updating methodologies. In the MINEDUC report, “Innovación y Calidad en la era digital, 20 años impulsando el uso de las TIC en la Educación” it is stated that, in 1992, an innovative project was created with one main objective, to improve existing curricular programs, providing teaching tools to Teachers and I have given......middle of paper......t to integrate into my career as a Teacher. The professional I want to be is one who is able to influence and create meaningful learning in their students with different tools. No matter by what means different results are achieved, even if they are achieved successfully, it would be much better if we put into practice these new resources that facilitate our task as teachers.
