For all these political and governance forums, the creation of shared value concepts and practices has become a suitable vehicle, among others, to strengthen corporate commitment to human and environmental priorities wider. It has become almost common practice to carry out rounds of consultation with the private sector as a key part of building global policy and regulatory frameworks. Regarding private sector consultation cycles on the SDGs, for example, it is important to mention the “Davos Roundtable on Shared Value and Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships”, organized by UNIDO and the Foundation Strategy Group (Porter's think tank and Kramer). More than 45 multinationals are participating in the event.
