Bullying is using superior strength or influence to intimidate someone, usually to force them to do what you want. This happens in schools across the country, both elementary and high school. I have seen bullying happen numerous times to innocent people because of who they associate with. Bullying includes cyberbullying, which occurs online; along with bullying that happens face to face. Typically it's not just one person who bullies, it's a group of people who pick on that person. Most of the time, people who follow the bully do so simply because they prefer to be the "bully" rather than being the one being bullied. A bully manages to convince people to join their group. Those who normally hang out with bullies say things just to fit in, they are conformists. Whether it's the bully or the followers, their attitude reflects them as a person. And when other people see it, they think it's the right thing to do, because even if it's wrong, their personality is strong. Because honestly anyone would say it's a lot easier to be mean to someone than to accept rude compliments. I would say that bullying, whether it's cyberbullying or bullying in general, is an act of conformity, because the only reason it's an ongoing thing is because other people follow the leader. Statistics show that the percentage of bullies continues to grow. I think this is because more and more groups are forming, and the groups are wrong
