As I stated, growing up, I saw several racist acts occur and I still see them today. My cultural and family biases have shaped who I am today. It opened my eyes to the idea that familial and cultural biases. Some cultural biases have been passed down from generation to generation, and some may not even be aware of them. My cultural identity and prejudices may consist of some of my personal experiences. I believe that every culture has its own beliefs and ways of thinking. They have the opportunity to have an open mind to the perspectives of others. They can see the world through other people's points of view and can see things differently. I believe that keeping an open mind towards others is very important if you want to be able to understand and empathize with culturally different situations. There are vast amounts of opportunities from which someone can gain an understanding of cultural diversity and determine any biases. I think it's important for people to become aware of their feelings towards diversity, as well as recognizing the positive and negative aspects. I absolutely will not say that I have no prejudice.
