Topic > Communication and Demonstrative Communication - 689

In communication there are many factors that can influence the interpretation of the message and its intentions. The only factor perceived as difficult to analyze is demonstrative communication; non-verbal and non-written communication. Nonverbal communication occurs through the tone, body language, and facial expressions that occur during communication. Demonstrative communication involves two main components; listening and responding. While both seem like standards and actions that occur unconsciously, active listening and responding could influence the outcome of a message and influence the overall communication experience between the speaker and the audience. Listening requires constant effort on the part of the audience in an attempt to take in all the information presented and then determine its meaning and message. After understanding the message and determining the meaning, the audience is able to respond. Audiences might respond by word of mouth, through writing or images, or, commonly, through nonverbal and nonwritten communication. Demonstrative communication can be effective if the recipient is aware of the communication taking place and is consciously making an effort to interpret and understand the message. message within that communication. The sender may not be aware of the messages they are sending, which could work to the advantage of the recipient and they may use it to their advantage to further help their communication that they intend to perform. While some recipients are aware of the demonstrative communication, those who are unaware may still receive it and realize that a form of communication is being enacted. Thanks to the consistency of communication and the fact that speakers and listeners are always...... in the center of the paper ...... of disinterest and the speaker continues with the same rhythm and tonal quality as before , the result would not be positive. Or, if the listener showed signs of offense and the speaker did not heed the warning, this would ultimately lead to a negative outcome through demonstrative communication. This outcome occurs when the speaker chooses not to follow the cues provided through demonstrative communication. The result of demonstrative communication varies depending on the situation and the messages represented. In the situation of speaker and listener, both parties play the role of sender and receiver. Both then contribute to the discussion and the message represented through the use and subconscious understanding of demonstrative communication. Works Cited http://www.esca.com
