King Arthur, was he a man of truth or myth? King Arthur was a real person, not just a fictional character. While many believe that King Arthur was a non-fictional character, others believe that he was a fictional character. This is because there is no written record of a King Arthur in any area where he would have been born or died. King Arthur was real because many people remember King Arthur or know personal stories about him, his family, and the wars in which he so bravely participated. There are many people who remember King Arthur or know someone he was based on. King Arthur was not real because it is not recorded in history that there ever was a "King Arthur". Although it is widely argued throughout history that King Arthur is not imaginary, this is not true. To consider King Arthur a non-fictional person there would have to be written records attesting to his birth and death. There are people further back in history who have birth and death records. Just because people want it to be real, they will portray anything with a story about it and make it truth. According to the facts, King Arthur was imaginary. Some of these battles were not written into history, if the incident had not been documented they should not have been real. There are records showing historical figures further back in time, so why do we have no evidence of King Arthur's life or death? I'm not there because it wasn't real. If Arthur were real he would have been buried underground, but he isn't. In every story told of King Arthur...... middle of paper......
