I have been taking computer science and programming courses while working full time at Safeway as a supervisor. Working in customer service helped me a lot with communicating and learning the culture. I also learned to be attentive by listening to their needs and be able to provide them with absolute service. Therefore, I also progress in my willingness to learn. With my work experience, I have learned to come out of my shell and continue to progress. However, over the past two years, there have been so many obligations that I have had to focus on, such as working full time while attending school full time. Some years had been tough due to physical, mental and emotional exhaustion. Some areas of the school were severely affected and led to failures because there are times when I focused too much on earning money to support myself and my family, survive and get an education. It was difficult to balance work and school. Even though I failed so many times, I repeated some courses so I could understand, practice and understand the lessons I failed in. I believed that before success you had to experience the pain and hardship of failure. For now I'm learning to be flexible in keeping up with all the responsibilities.
