Paratroopers proved their worth time and again on the battlefield during World War II during intense battles and operations. Thanks to their training and equipment, paratroopers on both sides were able to draw on the skills they had learned and use what they had to their advantage. Each country used their airborne division in different ways, but despite the differences, each achieved victories through their actions. If paratroopers had not been used during this war in the way that they were, the key events that changed the situation would never have happened or would not have had the same effects.
