As technology continues to advance in the modern world, it offers many luxuries, not only to everyday life, but especially to students. Technology offers today's students many opportunities for success in their academic endeavors, which can improve their outcomes. These opportunities can be seen in different areas such as; correct planning, the ability of teachers to adapt to individual learning styles, the constant communication it allows and the originality of student work. By providing students with the many luxuries of technology, they are able to not only see where they are going, but are able to make a plan to get them where they strive to be. Students have the ability to plan their precious time more effectively and stay on a path they have designed for themselves. The types of technology that can be used are computer calendars, phone applications, or any other type that the student feels can best be used to improve their success. By designing a time frame that works with their schedule, they are able to plan days, weeks, or months and stay on track. Planning in the near or distant future will ensure that the student stays on their self-made plan to complete all the tasks they try to complete. According to a survey conducted by Edtech magazine How Technology is Powering Academic Success, 75% of students say technology has helped them achieve their academic success (Daly, 2012). After adopting a plan, students can continue to decide how much time to dedicate to school, work, or even their personal life. With a proper plan, students can also adapt technology to the individual learning styles they have. As technology continues to develop… halfway… to embrace and utilize these tools, they can use technology to dramatically improve their academic success. Works CitedBillings, E., Mathison, C. (2012).
