JRR Tolkien said: “Even the smallest person can change the course of our future.” Whether it's graduating from high school, buying a car or having a baby, it doesn't matter what even the smallest thing in our life can jeopardize our entire future or all human beings. Whether one believes that an abortion kills a child or simply eliminates an embryo, an abortion will have an effect on the future of the individual making the decision. Abortion is one of many things that can affect a person's life. It is a life-ending medical procedure and can sometimes end our relationships with our closest family members as well. One in three women will have an abortion at some point. The right to abortion is one of the issues that have existed since the 1800s. It became an important topic after there were many deaths caused by complicated and illegal abortions due to unrefined medical procedures. At the end of the 19th century, in 1967, abortion was illegal throughout the United States. (Opposing views) Subsequently, some states made abortion legal for women with restrictions, and some states have restrictions on abortion at different stages of pregnancy. Most states ban abortion if the woman is in her second or third trimester. (Opposing views) It is performed by a licensed doctor in hospitals. About 16 states allow abortion in private institutions. We may have some problems, but killing an innocent child is not the solution. Fighting our obstacles is the best way to overcome problems sooner or later. Almost everything we get sometimes has small flaws but we manage to overcome them. That's right, having a baby comes with great responsibility, but we shouldn't run away from that responsibility because it also brings with it infinite happiness. Work cited "Abortion".
