Say "Cheese"? Argumentative Essay Topic 1 "One, two, three, say 'cheese'!" This is something that is very commonly heard in photography studios around the world today. I have wanted to be a photographer for a long time. I have observed several people doing my dream job. I observe their techniques, see how they manage to create the "magic" shots and much more. One thing is special about these many photographers. They are all freelance photographers. On top of a photographer's already limited budget, you never know when the next job will appear. Despite the uncertainties of this type of work, this is what I want to do after graduation. Since freelancers don't know when their next job will arrive, one of my biggest worries is how I'll be able to support myself with this business. We do not freelance for the love of money but, on the contrary, for the love of work. “Light has no words, but a well-taken photo can capture it and you can stare at it and create a visual worship of the Father of Lights [God]” (Hoffman). I have already started building my collection of cameras and lenses, purchased with my hard-earned money. I took a class or two with one of my favorite photographers, Kori Hoffman, and even modeled for a few of her classes. Using the information I learned from his lessons I have already been able to start my own "business"! I took three senior graduation photos and two family photos. From my little experience as a model for Mrs. Hoffman, I have gained some knowledge about how to arrange people so that they look their best in photographs. Even though I've already had some success with my photography, the unknown is starting to loom in the near future, which sometimes makes me question my ability to do well in a business on my own.
