Everyone receives information differently and interprets it in their own way. Teachers have many ways of teaching, but few use all the tools necessary to ensure that every student understands the material, especially when it comes to keeping students interested in a lesson. One way to keep students interested in the material is to teach in a flipped classroom. A teacher at Civic Memorial High School uses this form of teaching. In this type of lesson, students go home and watch a YouTube video created by the teacher. These videos serve as lessons, and when students are in class they participate in projects and complete worksheets.
