Previously, for many years, Tibet had faced occupation of its territory by the forces of the People's Republic of China. This was very alarming to many people, including the esteemed Dalai Lama of Tibet. The Dalai Lama was a very influential person in the history of Tibet and many of the decisions he made directly influenced the outcome of some situations relating to relations between Tibet and China. The Dalai Lama, in Tibetan Buddhism, is a lineage born-again magistrates that dates back to the year 1391. Every time an old Dalai Lama dies, a new one is chosen. Starting in the 17th century, the Dalai Lama was appointed head of the Tibetan government, running much of the country from his capital, Lhasa. The Dalai Lama is considered the supreme head of Tibetan Buddhism, and many leaders consider the Dalai Lama to be the highest lama of the Tibetan traditions. Upon the death of the previous Dalai Lama, his monks begin the search for the reincarnation of the Dalai Lama as a child. The monks take great consideration and conduct very thorough research to make their findings as accurate as possible. Familiarity with the possessions owned by the previous Dalai Lama is considered the main sign of reincarnation. The current Dalai Lama was born as Lhamo Thondup, the son of Choekyong and Diki Tsering. The monks began looking for him shortly after the death of the 13th Dalai Lama. A search team has been sent to the northeastern region to look for the head on the embalmed body... in the center of the paper... Ama has always supported peaceful solutions despite Chinese aggression. He has developed many proposals for solving international conflicts, human rights issues and global environmental problems. Among the Nobel Peace Prize winners, the Dalai Lama has been awarded numerous other prizes and recognitions. The Dalai Lama's philosophy is to live a peaceful and non-violent life. He believes that tolerance is the medicine for hatred in the heart and violence. For him, tolerance is an important virtue and allows people to refrain from reacting angrily and harming others. Since then, the Dalai Lama was installed as the head of Tibet, he was a very influential person in that country. His decisions affected hundreds of thousands of people. He has many loyal followers who hope that one day his peaceful ways will be what is needed to achieve Tibet's independence.
