This is because Facebook allows the user to take control and present their life to be more exciting or perfect than it actually is. Facebook users tend to choose the most flattering photos of themselves to post online. They are also more likely to post only the most interesting or positive things happening in their lives. Method To conduct the study, 425 university students were administered a questionnaire containing several questions about their lives and Facebook.
