In the career field, there are many careers and jobs to enjoy, such as being a sales manager. As a sales manager, you will need to be a leader; however, a sales manager will also set a sales goal for the year, train and hire new members of their sales team, and designate sales territories to certain salespeople as to where they will sell their product. Most sales managers are expected to work long hours, late into the evenings and on weekends. The annual salary of many sales managers is $98,530, but what a sales manager earns depends on where they work. To get a good job at a big name company, most sales managers will need to have a business degree and 1-5 years of experience with a sales team. The sales manager position is a fun and exciting job with a variety of different responsibilities. A sales manager has many responsibilities such as disseminating the product to customers, defining sales areas, objectives and analyzing sales data (“Sales Manager” What is paragraph 1) . Although a sales manager performs many tasks, people in this position will also set a sales goal for the year and build a sales perspective on what they will do in the years to come (“Sales Manager” Sokanu par. 1). A person in this position will also manage where their company's goods and products will be distributed, assigning a certain sales area where a salesperson will work and sell the product (“Sales Manager” Sokanu para. 2). During working hours, a sales manager may be asked to hire and train a new salesperson added to his or her team (“Sales Manager” Sokanu par. 3).
