After this course, there are many elements of teaching that I had not considered before. Likewise, learning was simply something you do, but there are many factors that influence how we learn, why we continue to pursue learning, and elements that might hinder it. This course offered a glimpse into the complexities of child development and what educators need to monitor for children to develop to their maximum potential. Sometimes teachers need to manage children's behavior that may be out of their control and become flexible so they can work productively with their students. It's a rewarding field that doesn't get the credit it should because the amount of work done is extensive. Teachers must battle several variables to provide students with knowledge that prepares them for the next level and to be a leading member in their school.
