A supernatural entity is a spiritual being that has some kind of sacred or powerful effect on the way life goes, whether good or bad. In this case, there were many spiritual beings who interfered with Indiana Jones' journey through life. Thankfully, they interfered with his life in a positive way. The main example is towards the end of the film, when the Ark has finally been opened. At that time, Dr. Jones and his accomplice, Marion, had been captured and tied to a post with ropes. The Nazis had taken the Ark for themselves and were preparing to open it. As they lifted the lid, they were shocked to find the Ark filled with white sand. Furious, the leaders threw handfuls of sand on the ground. When they finished, all the lights suddenly went out and broke; this was the first of many supernatural events at that time. In the few minutes following that scene, the entire place was filled with an eerie blue light; that was the second presence of an entity, and it was God. Immediately all the Nazis were killed and disintegrated on the spot. Indiana Jones ordered Marion to keep her eyes closed to avoid looking at the supernatural being, and he did the same.
